Frosted Privacy

Contra Vision offers an exclusive range of frosted privacy films which vary in terms of light transmission and the amount of privacy they provide, with the privacy level increasing as the Visual Light Transmission (VLT) decreases.

• Light Frost - 90% Visual Light Transmission (VLT): With a privacy level of 3/5, this product is ideal for glazed meeting rooms, office partitions, building entrances and other living places where natural light is of upmost importance, but privacy is still required.
• Medium Frost - 60% VLT: With a privacy level of 4/5 this product gives a high degree of privacy which will be enough in most situations, while still allowing over half of natural light into rooms.  
• Heavy Frost - 30% VLT: A high opacity film with a privacy level of 5/5, giving total 2-way privacy both day and night. Ideal for bathroom windows and other places where privacy is of the upmost importance and natural light can be replaced with artificial sources.

The product family all share the same core qualities including adhesive performance and 100micron embossed polymeric vinyl with an expected minimum lifetime of 5 years when applied to the inside of windows. This makes it easy for installers and dealers to handle the products with confidence and to match the needs of their clients in terms of privacy and light transmission.

All the frosted window films have an elegant textured (embossed) surface and are a cost-effective alternative to etched or sandblasted glass, providing similar benefits without the need for replacing existing windows. They are ideal for both commercial and residential applications, on either the inside or the outside of windows.
